AT&T Enters Battle for Pay TV in Grand Rapids

Competition for cable and satellite TV providers arrives today in West Michigan. AT&T officially is introducing to West Michigan its U-verse package, which offers television, Internet and telephone services. For West Michigan TV viewers, AT&T's system represents the region's first nondish-based, pay television alternative to Comcast and Charter Communications.
